HealthHub was developed for a network of five independent healthcare clinics facing challenges with patient record management, appointment scheduling, and billing processes. The clinics were struggling with paper-based systems and outdated software that couldn't meet their growing needs. Each clinic had different workflows, but all needed a unified solution that could provide secure access to patient records, streamline administrative tasks, and improve patient communication. We created a comprehensive cloud-based patient management system that digitized all aspects of clinic operations. The platform features a customizable dashboard for different user roles, secure storage and access of medical records, automated appointment reminders, integrated billing functionality, and a patient portal. The solution significantly reduced administrative overhead, minimized scheduling errors, and improved patient satisfaction through more efficient service delivery and communication.

We spent two weeks onsite across the five clinics, observing workflows, interviewing staff, and documenting pain points. This hands-on approach allowed us to understand the unique requirements of each clinic while identifying common needs that could be addressed through a unified platform.
We built a secure cloud-based solution using React and Next.js for the frontend, with TypeScript ensuring code quality and maintainability. The backend uses a PostgreSQL database with Prisma ORM, deployed on AWS infrastructure with HIPAA-compliant security measures. We implemented HL7 integration to connect with laboratory systems and other healthcare providers.
We implemented a clinic-by-clinic migration approach with comprehensive data import from legacy systems. Each deployment included three days of onsite training and support, ensuring staff were comfortable with the new system before moving to the next location.
